Truly heartwarming. Thanks, Em and Sabine. Alex is a caring, giving and most generous young man. It was a treat to read this, and to see the photos. Sabine got two hugs ... delightful!

There's only one thing Sabine did not mention...how did he smell?
I know, so shallow in view of the good cause. But she got two hugs
and stood with him in an elevator!

Just read through the article that Sabine wrote, very nicely done. I felt like I was standing right there with them. Two hugs and a peck on the cheek, wow!

This is totally awesome, what a fantastic memory Sabine has made and she is wonderful to share her experience with all of us.

I have an update, not only do I now have a donor card BUT I also signed up to give to the Anthony Nolan Trust, hopefully this will enable more transplant to happen with just a little every month...
