Please Note our Name Change

Since the cancellation of Three Rivers, we've decided to change our name.

Alex O'Loughlin has always been the Three Rivers cast member most interested in organ donation.  He is an official Ambassador and Spokesman for Donate Life America, and intends to continue his work regardless of the show's cancellation.  We therefore felt it appropriate to rename this site in honor of his work. 

Our thanks and best wishes to the other Three Rivers cast and production crew as well.

First thing I did when I heard the news was to immediately change the name of the MySpace Page to 'The Fans of Alex O'Loughlin Organ Donor Campaign'.

Yes I saw that, Emerald!  I wanted to wait just a little while to be certain of the cancellation, and to let things settle down a little and see what Alex was going to do.  But when he blogged about continuing his work with DLA, I thought it was appropriate to go ahead and change the name.  I hope people will be able to find it easily.  The domain name change will go up tomorrow.  People cannot even find the website from FANS OF THREE RIVERS.  That title no longer exists.

Yeah I know I should have waited, and checked with you guys first *blush*. I just had a gut feeling you were going to change the name of the campaign to that anyway, and besides I really wanted to comment on Alex's MySpace to give him some suppport, but I didn't want to inadvertently upset him by having a MySpace Name and Avatar with words and images of Three Rivers all over it.
