Promoting the Campaign on Twitter

For those of you who have a Twitter account.

Tweet about the Fans of Three Rivers Organ Donor Campaign as much as possible. Join the CBSThree Rivers Twitter page, and any other pages you can think of to do with Alex or Three Rivers. Kate Moennig's Twitter Fanpage has 10,000 followers, for example.

I've just joined up myself, under the username Emerald_VS. I've sent a couple of tweets out to CBSThree Rivers, and CBS Official Twiitter page as well. Will send some more stuff out later on.

So far I'm following all of the Donate Life Twitters, Katherine Moennigs Twitter Fan Page, CBS Three Rivers, CBSTweet, CBSNews, The Backup Plan, and an Alex O'Loughlin Fans Twitter.

This is a good way to help spread the word to as many people as possible.

Ok, I've gone ahead and set up an Official Presence on Twitter.

  • Bio Three Rivers Fan Coalition. Dedicated to assisting the Transplant Community in every way possible.
I can always delete the account if anyone isn't happy with me doing this. I don't want to tread on anyone's toes. I will PM the Password to those who need access. Just ask.

Also I've linked the Twitter Page to a Gmail account.

So far I've started following all of the CBS Twitter Pages, including all CBS News and Radio Twitters, a number of celebrities, and journalists that were recommended at random, plus some fanbased sites for the cast of Three Rivers.

Obviously we need people to follow the Fans of Three Rivers Organ Donor Campaign on Twitter as well.

So sign up, and start following. :)

This is such a fabulous idea, Emerald! I don't know anything about Twitter, (I don't tweet!) so I say, honey, run with it! Everyone who's on Twitter go for spreading the word!

Oh cool, Nancy...No Worries, I'll look after it. :) I'm still learning the ropes a bit myself, but I'm getting the hang of it. egypt dance

Is there anyway we can get the Twitter Page info out to people in the know. Like Carol Barbee, or anyone involved with Donate Life, or CBS, or Three Rivers...or maybe even Alex himself? I'm just thinking the more big media or celebrity type outfits are aware of this, the more people we might get following the campaign.

If it gets popular, believe me, they will see it.  (Their spies are everywhere!  LOL!)  Other than that, no.
