A media blitz has gone out to everyone who is anyone letting them know that the fans of Alex O'Loughlin and Three Rivers are supporting the transplant community in honor of the premier of Three Rivers. This is the press release. Hopefully, it will be picked up far and wide:

For Immediate Release

Sept. 30, 2009

Fans of Alex O’Loughlin and the new CBS medical television drama Three Rivers,
have organized a national organ donor registration and financial contribution
drive to show their support and to celebrate the premier of the new series
beginning Sunday Oct. 4th.

O’Loughlin has amassed a huge fan base, and the same fans who promoted a
successful blood drive for the American Red Cross in honor of his previous CBS
series, Moonlight, are following suit for the very worthy cause of organ
donation.

Viewing parties and internet “chats” will be held at fan sites around the world,
and are being promoted by sites such as:
The Fans of Three Rivers Organ Donation Campaign Coalition,

Donate Life America has taken an active roll in advising the television drama,
and welcomes the support of the fans of the show. Fans desiring to register as
organ donors or contribute financially to the cause, will be directed to their

and to the website of The National Transplant Assistance Fund,
http://www.transplantfund.org/
Fans can select the agency and cause to which they would like to contribute by
clicking on the websites.

The principle site holding a viewing party and website “chat” is The Fans of
Three Rivers Organ Donation Campaign Coalition. To participate, fans should
access http://www.fanstrdonorcampaign.com/
and click on “To Donate Life Click Here,” or simply join in the chat which will
begin at 9 AM Pacific time and continue until Midnight.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for this HOWEVER I do hope that they fix the typo. . .   you also have THE power to donate life,  or is it me that's reading that wrong?????
