What does The National Transplant Assistance Fund Do?
NTAF has helped families raise $58 million for critical but uninsured medical expenses related to transplantation and catastrophic injury.
NTAF helps patients and their families organize, launch and sustain grassroots fundraising campaigns, providing fiscal accountability for the funds raised and weekly disbursements for life-saving and life-sustaining medical care.
NTAF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
What an awesome idea - I signed up!! Thanks for posting all these things that otherwise we might not all know about. It's so helpful to find different ways to help, and shopping - it'll be tough, but for such a good cause, but I bet a bunch of us can force ourselves - talk about taking one for the team!! I'm going to take a good look at this. I'm careful about my spending, but with my daughter's birthday coming up as well as Christmas, I'll be shopping. Might as well let my purchases do some far-ranging good.
